We Don’t Need To Know Where It’s All Going

goal setting doesn't work around creativity

Whenever people ask me about my business and everything else I am doing, they always ask me the inevitable question – where do you see all of this ending up? The reality is that I am not concerned with where it might end up. Not only am I not good at predicting all of that, but also, I am not interested in knowing the future, because that would ruin all of the fun.

I like the unpredictability and unknowingness of the future. It keeps things spicy, at least for me. I don’t know where it’s all going, but I do know that I will get there somehow, by keeping on doing things that I love to do on a daily basis.

In the moment at least, I love what I do. I love what I am able to do with my time on this planet. Perhaps, it might result in something awesome, but in the moment, I am already feeling awesome, so mission accomplished! Right?

We Want To Know The End Before We Start

The problem with human beings right now says that we all want to know how it’s going to end up before we start doing anything. “If I start this business, I want to be a millionaire. I want guarantees of that, or I won’t start.”

Things that like that.

That doesn’t make a single lick of sense, because how are you supposed to know, and if you knew, where would the fun be in that? It would make things absolutely boring and I wouldn’t be interested in living that kind of life.

For now, I am happy with what I do on a day-to-day basis, and I want to keep on going. Will it go anywhere? Who knows. Will I have a lot of fun on the way! Hell yes!!
