Okay guys, there’s probably going to be a lot of people telling me I am wrong and their city is more livable. So, let me start off by saying, this is only my opinion. Only one person’s opinion. I love Chiang Mai, and I think it’s great. So there. This is my website so that’s why I can post my opinion on here.
Ah, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s begin. I love Chiang Mai. It is one of those cities that has been perfect for me in so many different ways. I love the people, the weather, the atmosphere, the food, the events, and everything else about it. In fact, I am going to be so bold as to say there isn’t a single thing about Chiang Mai that I dislike. Wow, big one, right?
Chiang Mai Works For Me As A Digital Nomad
The internet speeds here are sometimes insanely fast, faster than anything back home. Which is surprising to me. There are lots and lots of events weekly on entrepreneurship, and other awesome topics. There are meet-ups on absolutely any topic you can imagine, from drawing and sketching, to munches, and more. In fact, if you have an interest in anything obscure, you will probably find a group here, or you could probably start a group of your own.
It’s also really amazing to live here because it’s cheap, and the food is absolutely delicious. I spend most of my days experimenting with new cuisines from all over the world. I am a foodie, so this is like heaven to me.
Also, they have some of the most beautiful coffee shops in the world, with great coffee, presentation, service, and pricing. What more could you ask for?
If you are thinking at all about moving to an Asian country to start something new in your life, I highly recommend Chiang Mai as your first option.
